Built in 1893, our beautiful Victorian home, an icon in Mexico, Missouri, was once the home of Allen Percy Green, the owner/operator of the Green Refractory, a world renown fire-brick manufacturer and friend to Mexico. All our guests are welcomed into our home by the owners, Michael and Janine Vogel, and our motto is; “We consider every guests family”. As such, every guest will be pampered to ensure their stay with us meets their every expectation. Beyond the elegance of the home, each room has been decorated to provide warmth and comfort as well as a sense of the old Victorian charm.
Each guest receives a specially prepared gourmet breakfast from a selection of our own recipes designed with a balance of unique flavors that tantalize your pallet and provide an extraordinary change from the every day morning meal. Your breakfast will be graciously served to you in the dining room, or if you prefer during beautiful mornings, outdoors on our covered porch. Those who stay in one of our suites can even choose to be served in their room.
Beyond the individual rooms, our ample common areas, open to every guest, feature more than 5,000 square feet of space and include our hot tub and sauna to provide a place for you to relax after a long day of sightseeing or traveling. Our guests surveys reflect a nearly perfect 5 our of 5 in 10 different areas, representing an average of 99.7% in customer satisfaction. When we say our house is your house, we really mean it.
